Yes people we are in the 200's
Day 299!
Had to do a quick blog today to announce the official count and celebration of being in the 200s. I know I have such an audience reading this (1-Erica) - everyone is excited. I really haven't given the address to anyone because my blog is not exciting enough. Most of the happenings of my daily life are not something I want to post on the internet or do I think anyone cares to read. Lately I have been on a negative whirlwind, but today is a day of celebrating. These days I am into small victories and accomplishments. Here are few ways that I feel blessed:
1. Kevin hung around the house all last night and "reportedly" has raised 2 failing grades. He is willing to try medication again and started it yesterday. I know it may not last long but I am seeing a big turn around since our meeting at school yesterday. I am enjoying it while it lasts.
2. Sat out in the cool rain at my LAST game with the cheerleaders of the season. Two more practices and the assembly performance and Laura has earned her money.
3. I got paid on Friday for my parenting classes.
4. The Bachelor cut the whiny spoiled "socialite" from the show. I have become a DVR addict. Really like the new shows Men in Trees, 6 degrees, and Brothers and Sisters. CSI is almost getting to graphic for even the nurse in me!
5. Cliff may be going to Korea with me and I am close to making a reservation.
6. We are going to Columbia this weekend to MU Homecoming. It will be sad without Erica but a diversion from staying at home.
7. Kevin is on his 3rd week as a Wendy's employee and is looking for that first big paycheck.
8. Things seem to be relaxing at work and people are noticing the good changes along with the bad.
9. I realize what a fortunate situation I have when I see some other people's struggles, particularly the family of my dearly departed co-worker.
10. Sound like the "trouble in Paradise" over in Korea has somewhat resolved or is slowly healing.
So I won''t go on about ear surgery that Erica may have. I did talk to Dr. Personality's office, who took her tonsils out, and they said it is a very minor procedure and doesn't necessarily require anesthesia. I hope that is true.
Well going to eat dinner at Susan's house with Karen. Loved Erica's blog today. Things are looking up.
