Day 350
This blogging freaks me out a little because I feel I am "publishing" to the internet. I am a little frightened to give too much info. But I guess only certain people are interested in me.
Rick has been out of town 4 nights and I don't like being a single parent to Kevin very well. Plus even though Rick is very quiet, he is quite a calming influence on me. So I miss him.
The adventures w K continue on a daily basis. Let's just say I now know the new asst. principal at K's school and he seems very nice. I think my response to his call was not the usual- and he was so relieved to have a supportive parent. This is the 3rd one in 3 years. Not sure if Kevin runs them off or just his class as whole. They are a handful. I did just get to talk to Kev's good friend's mom and I found a kindred spirit. I feel like we can be honest with one another and are on the same page. We know our sons have good hearts, they are just very adventure seeking and impulsive. They will lie or manipulate to get to continue to do the things they want to do. Plus Kevin's friend is gifted, s he is probably full of creative ideas. If we visit a military school she said they would come along.
I have so much to do at work it is overwelming this time of year. Gma has been coming in a doing filing which helps alot. I have had a sinus headache for 2 days due to the heat and humidity. I feel sad on and off not being able to see Erica, but I love that she is having an adventure. I am meeting Mike at the airport before he leaves to give him some stuff that Erica needs.
Today I am going to go in E's room and clear a path if it kills me. And it may. I am going to box up some of the clothes she has wanted me to mail to her later. Of course I will have to give Mike a big hug to give to her too. Erica, just think about how much you will be able to help the newbies!
Well gotta start on my cleaning projects. Gotta get the boy to mow the lawn before his dad gets home. At least it is cooler out than it has been- it is like 82.
