Day 307
Finally got to talk to Erica today after about 4-5 days because she has been traveling in Korea. It was great to hear her talk without hacking her lungs out. She should get her American meds soon.
Our biggest event for the week was BVNW Homecoming. I tried to make it not a big deal because I was halfway thinking everything was going to fall through- plus Kevin hates me making a big deal out of things. But we got the jacket, shirt, tie and corsage without any drama. Here is a cute picture. I think they had a good time. They ate at CC City Broiler and went to the dance for a couple of hours. They said that there were too many Freshman there so they didn't stay that long. It is now Sunday morning and Kevin is going to make her pancakes! They are cute how comfortable they are around one another.

The strange thing is that Alexis didn't eat. I remember that happening with Erica's friends. They were too worried about popping out of their dress. She said that she had just eaten at Subway that afternoon and wasn't hungry. Geez, these girls ought to get their free meal while they can.
Otherwise this week was busy with Cheer Practice, games and getting ready for the big event. I am feeling 100% better and thinking this doctor is curing everything including my little raspy throat thing. My stomach, asthma, and sinuses are all better. I am totally off Advil, Aleve, and Diet Coke. I have cut my wine consumption quite a bit- but managed to get some in this weekend. I didn't think I could survive without all that. I even seem to be losing weight. After Becky I know that isn't always a good thing. I am supposed to cut caffiene, but how much can a person take?
Friday night we went to the NW football game and then hung out at the Downes's house. The highlight of the evening was when his cousin met me he said "Don't I know you from somewhere?", I was actually trying to figure it out and then he said "I know, the cover of Cosmo". I must have been looking ravishing that night! he he. . . I will take compliments wherever I can get them. We sat outside and laugh, chatted and of course drank till 1 a.m.
Well I am off to run errands. I am doing better about missing Erica. It is just some things really irritate me- 2 right now are that Switzer is closed to my work and static in my home phone despite 3 repair people being out. That is the kind of stuff that sends me over the edge. DVR is helping me cope.
